Stuck for Blog ideas? Read on…

Hi there.

So, you know that having a blog for your business is an essential part of your marketing strategy. You have a blog and your goal is to have great content, but you’re not sure how to get there.

Are you struggling to find ideas week after week and you’re not even sure about your next blog post? If the answer is yes then you’re not alone.

I’ve been trawling the world wide web to find you some help, and help is definitely out there. Here are five sites which are brimming with ideas – for ideas! Sorry!

One
An idea which is so simple yet overlooked from Blog Ghost is to Keep an Ideas File. So, when you get the chance, sit down and create a  mind map of ideas, and why not keep cuttings of really good articles that you’ve seen in magazines and newspapers. The basic elements of the articles may inspire your writing in the future.

Two
Next on the list is a piece from Headway Themes which is an old post but still relevant all the same. I especially like,
F.L.E.E which stands for Find, Listen, Engage and Empower, in relation to Twitter. I guess if you are not a Twitter person, then this is your opportunity to look into this platform a bit more and see which articles stand out.

Three
According to Kissmetrics.com the letters or comments section of your local newspapers or conversations from networking groups could help you. These are just two of the 101 ideas mentioned on the site.

Four
Not sure how popular this idea will be but, here goes.  Talk about your mistakes is one of the suggestions from
Income Diary. They make a few suggestions but as this is unusual I thought I would mention it. It’s good to think outside the box sometimes.

Five

We all know how important it is to get feedback, so you can do surveys or just use questions from your readers for some inspiration. Check ProBlogger.

Hope this has been useful.  Please let me know how you get on with your next blog post!

Remember, if you need any help with blogs or website content then get in touch, I’ll be happy to help.

Take care,

Tricia
