Firstly let me apologise for the lack of posts on here.
In case, you’re wondering, no I didn’t hit the open road. As tempting as that was, I stayed at home and kept busy working behind the scenes on a number of projects and like the analogy of a builder and his own house, I have neglected my blog to work on other people’s blogs!
Although I have been away from here I have written for my other site PM Noble Writes and you can read the latest blog post here. In this post which I called How to get started in business, I shared some advice that I hoped would be useful for those who wish to start a new business.
If you are already a business owner and you are unsure of what’s the best way to move your business forward, then there is still some relevant advice from a previous blog, called What is the best advice?
So it looks as though the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme is really doing an amazing job in giving the hospitality industry a well-needed boost. Anyone who has enjoyed a meal at participating restaurants this August has played a vital part in supporting other businesses. For many though, they would love to see the scheme extended to next month and to encompass other business sectors too.
If you haven’t done so already, why not pop into a food establishment, take a seat and enjoy some food while contemplating which local business you can support while you’re in the area.
We SMEs are fantastic at supporting each other and I hope that this continues in the months ahead. Please remember to like and share posts for other businesses that you know, it really does make a difference.

P.S I would love to hear about your business lockdown stories, so get in touch about that too!
